Being stuck on the FRP verification page after resetting or buying a second-hand ZTE phone is a hassle, especially if you don’t remember the email and password used on the Google account.
It may sound impossible, but there are other ways to bypass the factory reset protection on a ZTE phone without needing the account credentials. And if you’re desperate to know them and unlock your phone, you better continue reading.
In this article, we will show you different ways how successfully do an FRP bypass on a ZTE phone. Check the methods below.
Method 1: Perform ZTE Factory Reset Protection Bypass by Asking Previous Owner
If your ZTE phone is second-hand, you may ask the previous owner to bypass the FRP. The previous owner can unlink the ZTE phone from the account to remove the FRP lock. This is only possible if they still know the credentials of the Google account used on the phone.
Ask the previous owner to visit the Google account page and log in with the account used on the ZTE phone.
From there, go to Security > My Devices > Manage All Devices.
Find the target account and tick the three-dot icon or the “>” symbol beside it.
Select Remove Device or Sign Out. This should bypass the FRP on your ZTE phone.
Method 2: Do a ZTE FRP Bypass without PC via Talkback
Another way to bypass the Factory Reset Protection on ZTE is by using the Talkback feature. The goal is to open the phone through the Talkback feature; we will then download a third-party app and use it to remove the FRP on your phone.
This method is complicated, so better read each step carefully.
On the welcome screen, tap the “Let’s Go” button and hit Skip. After that, tick the Set Up as New option and then connect to a WIFI Network and go back to the welcome screen.
Next, select Vision Settings, choose Talkback, and turn it on.
On your phone screen, swipe Down to the Right (L-shape), and this will show the Global Context Menu. From there, find and double-tap the Talkback Settings. Swipe Down to the Right again, then double-tap Suspend Feedback.
Go to Help & Feedback, type “Voice” and tap the voice icon. After that, select the “Get Started with Voice Access” option.
Next, open YouTube, select a video, then tap the Share icon to share the video.
Choose to Accept & Continue > No Thanks; this should open Chrome. Go to Romprovider, then download and install the Google Account Manager.
Create a quick shortcut for the Google Account Manager and run it.
On the browser, log in using a new Google account. Turn off and restart your ZTE phone. The FRP lock should be gone after that.
