Google has an app that is made to store and backup your photos from any device and it is Google Photos.
Once you create a Google account and link it on your phone, you can then download Google Photos and back up your images. Afterward, you can use the same account to log in on your computer, access Google Photos, and download the pictures from there.
Keep in mind, you can only use 15GB of free storage to store files, if your data exceeds this limit, you can purchase additional storage.
On the Google Photos app, tap your Profile picture or Initial on the top side corner. Select Photo Settings then turn on Backup.
After that, the app will back up and store your pictures. The process will take some time depending on the internet connectivity and size of your uploads.
Go to your computer and log in on Google Photos. From there, tick the photos you want to transfer and tap the three-dot icon and choose Download.
When it’s done, check the download folder on your PC and see the images.
