We take videos using our iPhones to remember and preserve the moments we have with our friends and family. Plus, we also save music videos, vlogs, and clips on our phones so we can watch them even if we don’t have internet access.
But our iPhones don’t have unlimited storage, and after accumulating a couple of videos, you may have to delete some in order to make room for new files. And I know that deleting your precious videos is the last thing you want to do.
In this situation, most people transfer their videos to other devices like computers. This way, the videos don’t have to be deleted and can be accessed at any time. Now, if you’re planning to move videos from iPhone to PC, stay on this page! We listed some helpful methods, check them out.
Method 1: Import Videos from iPhone to PC via iCloud
Another way to move videos from iPhone to PC is by using iCloud. You can use iCloud to store the videos on your phone then log in on the PC app and download the videos. Not only will you be able to move your videos, but you can also create a safe backup. You can also use this method to transfer videos to other devices such as Android and computers.
Keep in mind that iCloud only has 5GB of free storage, you might not be able to move all your videos at once if they exceed the storage limit.
On your iPhone open Settings enter your Apple ID and password then select iCloud > iCloud Drive.
Exit Settings then locate the target videos. Hit the Save to Files tab then tap iCloud Drive. After that, create a folder for your videos.
On your PC, go to the iCloud site or download the app on your computer. Next, sign in using the Apple ID you use on your phone.
On your PC, tick the iCloud Drive option then select and click the folder you created. Select all the videos then hit Download.
Wait for the download to finish and when it’s done check your videos.
Method 2: Move Videos from iPhone to PC via File Explorer
If you’re transferring bulk videos or videos with large file sizes, I recommend that you use this next method. We will directly move your videos from the File Explorer to the computer. All you need is a USB cord to connect your iPhone to the computer.
But remember, this process will not be quick especially if you transfer long or HD videos.
First, grab the USB cord and connect the iPhone to the computer.
Next, type in your iPhone password then select the Trust icon to connect both devices successfully.
On your computer, go to My PC and find your iPhone. Right-click on your mouse and click the “Import pictures and videos”. Then tick the “Import all new items now” button to be able to import your videos.
From there tick Next and choose the videos you want to transfer. When you’re done click Import and wait for the process to finish. After that, your videos should be on your PC.
