Webinars are redefining education. They make it possible for you to talk and listen to various academics and other professionals regardless of location. Webinars make it possible for a lot of people to discuss and exchange their ideas. You should always try to join one if you’re planning to get the insights of reputable individuals about a certain topic.
So, knowing how to record a webinar will be useful. A recording will allow you to view the webinar again and take note of the important points presented that you might have missed. Today, I’ll be teaching you how to record a webinar with clear details and sounds.
What Equipment Do I Need for a Webinar Recording?
It depends on your need. If you are just an auditor and want to keep a record of the webinar, then a computer with a Screen Recorder installed will be competent.
However, if you need to take part in the webinar, then you will need more:
- Web camera: Some laptop has a built-in camera, and some don’t. So, you can buy a full HD and autofocus webcam for your PC, making your image look sharp and crystal clear.
- Microphone: If you are at home with your family or your surrounding is noisy, a Noise-canceling microphone, by reducing the ambient noise, will help a lot to enhance the sound quality of your webinar.
- A regular headphone or AirPods for listening.
Which is My Best Webinar Recorder Software?
Most webinar platforms will offer a recording feature, but it can only be performed by the host. If you don’t get permission from the host or you want to record someone else’s webinar without others knowing, then you can only install a screen recorder and record the webinar locally.
If you don’t already have a satisfied screen capture tool, then you can try Aiseesoft Screen Recorder. Unlike other screen recorders, Aiseesoft has a very user-friendly interface that’s self-explanatory. This means that it doesn’t have a lot of fancy options and everything is straightforward. All you have to do is click a button and you’re set.
I’m pretty sure that you have lots of questions about Aiseesoft. So here, I teach you how to use Aiseesoft to record a webinar in Windows 10 in different situations.

Is My PC’s Built-In Mic Enough For Webinars?
Your PC’s microphone will do if excessive noise is not around. However, you should consider using a noise-canceling microphone for the best experience. Noise-canceling mic delivers your voice clearly to other people joining the webinar. The cost of a noise-canceling mic is between $10-$14 to date.
Will Your PC’s Front Camera Do Well For Webinars?
Your desktop monitor’s built-in camera will do fine for webinars. The same goes for your laptop. However, consider buying an external camera if your PC’s built-in camera has a blurry quality. Spending $40-$80 will give you a great external camera (480px-720px) . Don’t buy external cams cheaper than this because they won’t work well.
How Fast Is The Optimal Internet Speed For Webinars?
The optimal internet speed if you’re about to join a webinar is 3 Mbps. 3 Mbps is just enough for you to talk with people without sound and video delays. 5 Mbps is recommended because it displays everything in HD and the sound isn’t choppy.
Is Wireless Connection Good?
Connecting via WiFi will do. However, you should sit close to it or optimize the WiFi signal. If the signal is weak, try using a WiFi booster.
How Long Do Webinars Last?
Webinars last for 60 minutes on average. Still, there are some that last longer especially if the topic that’s being discussed is hot. Be sure to tell people not to barge in suddenly or download large files via WiFi while you’re participating in the webinar.
Is It Okay To Wear Casual Clothing During A Webinar?
A webinar is an online conference for professionals. Therefore, you should wear formal clothing as a sign of respect for them. Dress as if you’re joining a face-to-face meeting when taking part in a webinar. Blazers and slacks will do for men. On the other hand, women shouldn’t wear sleeveless attires and other revealing clothing.
What To Do If You Suddenly Disconnect During The Webinar?
Check your network before contacting your service provider. The common thing to do if this happens is to turn the WiFi off then connect again. If nothing happens after doing this, contact your internet provider and tell them to come ASAP.
