Method 2: Bypass LG Lock Screen via Google Find My Device
Another way to effectively bypass the LG phone lock screen is through Google Find My Device. It’s a free service available to all Android users who linked a Google account on their Android phones. It basically helps you track, erase, and unlock/lock the phone remotely.
On a web browser, visit the Find My Device website. Then, sign in to the linked Google account.
After signing in, select the LG phone and there will be options below it. Choose the Lock option and then enter a new password.
Click the Lock button to finalize the action. After that, you can bypass the lock screen using the new password.
However, this method can only work if the LG phone is connected to the WIFI before it got locked. An Internet connection is necessary to apply the changes you’ve made remotely.
Method 3: Bypass Pattern Lock on LG via Hard Reset
Well, if the two methods above don’t work for your LG phone and you really want to use the device again, resetting it is a viable option. All you need to do is boot the LG phone into Recovery Mode and perform a factory reset from there. Just know that this will erase the data on your phone.
Shut down the phone completely. Then, hold down the Power and Volume Down keys at the same time for 10-15 seconds.
When the LG or Android logo appears, release the keys and wait for the Recovery Menu to appear.
On the Recovery Menu, select the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option. Use the Volume Up and Down buttons to navigate the list and the Power button to confirm the selection.
Next, confirm Factory Data Reset and wait for the process to finish. Once done, select Reboot System Now.
After that, the lock screen on your LG phone should be removed and there should not be any issue. But if you have registered a Google account on the device, a Google Verification or FRP login screen may appear, just log in the account details to get through it. If you’ve forgotten your password, you may need to bypass Google lock.
Method 4: Bypass LG Lock Screen using Tenorshare 4uKey
Performing a hard reset can be unsafe at times. In fact, such a method can brick and render your phone useless if the process is interrupted or due to certain conditions. Well, if you fear for your LG phone’s life, there’s a safer way toward removing and resetting an Android device. And that’s with the use of Tenorshare 4uKey.
