After a Factory Reset, Android phones with OS version 5.1 and above have an added security measure called the FRP or Factory Reset Protection. This feature prevents unwanted access to the device after a reset. In order to access the device, you will have to enter the credentials of the Google account linked to the phone. But, if you remove the account before the reset, you won’t have to worry about the FRP.
Now, if in any case you didn’t disable the feature beforehand and after the Factory Reset on your Samsung phone you encountered the FRP lock. Don’t worry, we’re here to help! In this article, we are going to discuss the different ways to bypass the FRP lock on Samsung.
- Solution 1: Remove FRP Lock on Samsung without a Computer
- Solution 2: Remove the FRP Lock before Factory Reset
- Solution 3: How to Bypass FRP Lock On Samsung for Free
- Solution 4: Use 4uKey to Remove the FRP Lock on Samsung

Solution 1: Remove FRP Lock on Samsung without a Computer
The Google FRP lock can easily be bypassed if you know the credentials of the Google account logged in on your Samsung device.
Step 1
After the reset, you will see the FRP page. Enter your email/phone then hit next.
Step 2
You can then type your password and remove the FRP lock on Samsung.

If in any case, you forgot your password, you can still bypass the FRP on Samsung by resetting the password using the “Forgot Password” feature. In order to use this feature, your device should be connected to a WIFI network and you must have a backup email or recovery phone number on the account linked to the device. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1
On the FRP page on your phone, enter your email and hit Next.
Step 2
Tap the Forgot Password button. Then enter your recovery phone number/email. After that, a recovery link will be sent to either of the two.
Step 3
Click on the recovery link and set up a new password. When it’s done, go back to the FRP login screen and enter the new password. This should remove the FRP lock on your Samsung device.
Solution 2: Remove the FRP Lock before Factory Reset
Now, if in any case, you haven’t started the Factory Reset yet, you still have a chance to disable it. The FRP is associated with the Google account linked to your Samsung phone, and if you remove the account, the FRP will be removed too.
Step 1
On your Samsung phone/tablet, open Settings and go to Accounts.
Step 2
You will then see all the accounts linked to your device.

Step 3
Choose the Google account then tap the Remove Account option. After this, you can start the Factory Reset without worrying about the FRP.

This option can then be used to unlock the device without needing your Google account credentials. It requires an internet connection to download the needed applications.
Step 1
On the FRP log-in page, click on the space provided to activate the keyboard. Click on the GIF icon and select the Go to Galaxy Store option. Tap Agree on the terms and service to proceed. If the Galaxy Store needs to be updated, just hit the Update button.

Step 2
When the update is done, you will be redirected to the Store page. Search for the Samsung Internet Browser and install it.
Step 3
Once installed, open the browser and install a third-party FRP bypass app like Apex Launcher (this app provides different customization options for your phone).
Step 4
Next, open Settings > Biometrics and Security > Other Security Settings.

Step 5
Select the PIN Windows option and turn it on. Enable the “Use screen lock type to unpin” option found at the bottom.
