The Factory Reset is usually done via the tablet settings, but if your tablet is locked, you can use the Recovery Mode to access it.

The Recovery Mode is a feature on Android devices that helps fix phone issues and lets you access options without opening the device. This feature allows you to reboot your device, update SD cards, restore factory settings (wipe data), and more. To access the Recovery Mode, you will need to press a series of buttons, particularly the Power and Volume buttons.

Grab the tablet and make sure it has enough battery (at least 50%).

Step 2

Next, it’s time to enter Recovery mode. To do so, press and hold the Power button and both the Volume Up and Down buttons for 6 to 8 seconds.

Step 3

Wait for the tablet to restart. When it does, release the Volume Down button while continuing to press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons.

Step 4

When the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and continue to press the Volume Up button. After that, you should enter Recovery Mode.

Step 5

Use the Volume buttons to navigate and choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Use the power button to confirm.
